thanksgiving

i'm not going to make a thankful list, and i don't do the pieces of corn tradition (everyone at the table looks at you eek). however, i think this is a splendid way to be a happier and more grateful little being.

"Your thoughts create your world and your words indicate your thoughts. When you eliminate complaining from your life you will enjoy happier relationships, better health and greater prosperity."

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain. -maya angelou

i learned all of this from oprah, obviously. this is something i need to work on, the complaining thing. however i've been using my complaint free bracelet to remember which side to nurse on so it isn't working. hehe.

for the past week..

i've been checking my blog periodically, to see if i have added anything. and i kept discovering that i had not. so i am now. currently:

*i think i should blame most problems in life on my tonsils. i don't like them. however, the hole that spontaneously formed in my mouth has healed. good. also, in case it matters at any point to anyone, you can get narcotics from the acute care places in texas but not in the beehive state (pshh).

*winnie still dislikes her super cool baby hammock, ridiculoso!

*victoria's secret commercials are my nemesis.

*i need some talents. cool people have talents. where do i get them? i hope i can order them online, that's way convenient.

*tonight was girl's night for the fred and i, as daniel is on call. "we" ate a bunch of butter toffee almonds (feelin a bit dicey now), and watched some of the what not to wear marathon. ang... have you seen the one where clinton says, "those pants are the devil." that is the funniest thing i heard all day.

*my brother in law matt put orange juice in the stuffing. it was way good!

*winifred visited angie's library while in texas, and look... at 3 mos.!! best librarian ever! :)

to be a vampire again...

i have taken this quiz at least 5 times. i am edward. i don't mind, but i resent being called manipulative. when have i ever?? also, rational? hardly.

(don't know how to make random html stuff go away)

Which Twilight novel character are you?

You're Edward Cullen - You have great taste for the finer things in life, a classic style, and you understand the way people work so you can manipulate easily. You have many talents and a bit of a temper, but you are mostly level-headed and rational.
