i have been adoring shabby apple's dresses for months, and i finally gave into the Christmas sale and bought two classic looking dresses that i thought could be my new church wardrobe. i was shocked by the quality of their products (ahem, lack thereof) when they arrived. their customer service was equally disappointing.
it looks cute from afar though doesn't it?

Carly tagged me forever ago! so, here are 6 facts/habits about myself.
1. i always skip number one. too much pressure.
2. i don't pay attention to my phone.
3. i read magazines back to front. it is just the way that my hands flip the pages.
4. i must floss every night. the guilt would be too extreme if i didn't.
5. cookies must be aesthetically pleasing. i am a failure if they are not.
6. i like to put m&ms in the microwave for about 35 seconds. melty on the inside, crunchy on the outside. you can get the same effect by leaving them in your car when you live in texas. this is how i found out how yummy warm m&ms are.

not an ugly diaper bag
i think this bag is cute!! i just love bags. i don't really ever call it a purse. bag is good. or satchel, but i don't really say that. i just think it is a funny word. i remember liking bags even when i was little, but i didn't really know what i needed to carry around. so i put a cookie in there and carried it around while i followed my mom and aunt sonia as they shopped in preston or logan. then i thought it was pretty ewwy that there were crumbs in my bag. so if i get this one, i won't put any cookies in it. or, i'll at least include a ziploc if i do. :)

updates
Easter came! it is my favorite holiday. spring, fluffy baby lambs, colorful plastic eggs filled with goodies. i love it. this is the very first year of my entire life that i have missed my dad's egg hunt. he still warns us not to peek while he hides the eggs. he does it, not the fluffy tailed.
the bunny brought winnie a cd collection with nice classical wake-up and goodnight music, with beethoven, mozart, bach, the good stuff. and the bunny brought daniel this:

i made these for Easter dinner! i mean, dessert!
in other news:
yesterday, daniel was stuck, alone, in an elevator at the hospital for almost an hour.
the builders haven't started our house, per say, but i want to move in tomorrow.
daniel had a good birthday (i had a good one too.) here he is enjoying his special juice on the occasion.
winnie does the laundry now. (where'd all my socks go?)
the apartment management thinks i am a nurse. i wasn't sure whether or not to lie, especially as i was actually wearing scrub pants even when it was mentioned.
got these cute little wall lamps from ikea for winnie's new bedroom, even though we have a few months :)

i've been having fun...

twiddle dee twiddle dum here we sit, twiddling our thumbs
i know my performance is spotty, but there just isn't much going on. for fun around here we check the mail.
ok and we eat our hands.
i've been thinking about how my "going out pants" have holes in them (ok, and they are stretchy). at zafu.com you can answer some questions and find out what jeans will fit you best! it asks some pretty thorough questions about waist, thigh, and derrière size so i think the suggestions should be pretty decent.
also, i just found out about a store for little baby and kiddy clothes that is, i believe, from the maker's of gymboree but without the quite so ridiculoso prices. they had some cute leggings with horsey themes!! (baby, kiddy, horsey, hmmm what happened to my grammar)
little horseshoes, i like it!
oooh and also, a house in a good location, with pretty wood floors and lovely tile backsplash in the kitchen, and a porch that could be fun! i keep dreaming of warm summery, or heck wintry since we'll be back in s.a., bar b q's and well anyways, look here!

This week Ellen has introduced me to the fact that clorox is coming out with a new green line of products (yaaaaaaay i can't wait!) and also, Joshua Radin. He was called the modern day Simon & Garfunkel (he's quite small to be two people)! cool. He sang a rather righteous song on the show, but I can't recall the name of it.
Now, Ellen doesn't now about this one yet, but I have it on good authority that a very cool new blog has been created by a very crazy biking uncle of mine, who looks very cold... you'll know what i mean if you visit spokesnspin.
